Esta escuela del Grupo Escuela Internacional está situada en el centro de la encantadora ciudad universitaria de Alcalá de Henares. Alcalá es una ciudad tranquila, muy adecuada para el estudio de la lengua española.
Con una población de 170.000 habitantes, esta localidad es cómoda, segura y puede encontrar de todo con sólo dar un paseo por la ciudad. Vivir cerca del centro de Alcalá, con la escuela situada a escasa distancia de su alojamiento, le permitirá disfrutar de un horario relajado. Después de las clases, los estudiantes pueden reunirse fácilmente con sus amigos en la popular Plaza de Cervantes. Rodeada de edificios históricos y enmarcada por rosaledas y acacias, esta plaza constituye el verdadero centro social de la ciudad. A ella dan numerosas tiendas, cafeterías y restaurantes, y cuando llega la primavera, ¿qué mejor costumbre que dar un paseo por la Calle Mayor y después tomar un aperitivo al aire libre, en la misma plaza, a los pies de la estatua de Cervantes? La atmósfera amistosa y pacífica de la ciudad, su hermosa arquitectura renacentista y la hospitalidad de los alcalaínos crean el ambiente perfecto para estudiar la lengua y la cultura españolas. ¡Ah! Y no nos olvidemos de los habitantes más llamativos de Alcalá: docenas de entrañables cigüeñas que cada año en invierno hacen de campanarios, torres y tejados el hogar donde nacerán sus crías, ofreciéndole al paseante, con sus majestuosos vuelos, un espectáculo que no olvidará.
Alcalá de Henares ha sido recientemente elegida 'Ciudad Patrimonio de la Humanidad' por la UNESCO por su histórica tradición universitaria y su riqueza cultural. Los diferentes pueblos y culturas que han marcado la historia de este lugar hacen oír su voz en las múltiples celebraciones culturales que a lo largo de todo el año tienen lugar aquí. Cada año, el día 23 de abril, el Rey de España visita Alcalá para, en solemne ceremonia, hacer entrega en el Paraninfo de la Universidad del Premio Cervantes, el ‘Nobel’ de la literatura mundial escrita en idioma español. Si ese día, por casualidad, se encuentra dando un paseo por la Plaza de Cervantes visitando la Feria del Libro, tendrá la oportunidad de observar la llegada de la comitiva real acompañada por algunos de los grandes escritores españoles o latinoamericanos actuales.
Además la ventaja de Alcalá es la cercanía a Madrid. Situada a 25 kilómetros al noroeste de Madrid y solamente a 30 minutos en tren local, la ciudad de Alcalá dispone de un buen sistema de trenes de cercanías y autobuses interurbanos que cubre una amplia zona metropolitana, proporcionando un rápido y fácil acceso a la capital. La vida nocturna de Madrid con sus teatros, tablaos flamencos, restaurantes y discotecas, así como sus museos, monumentos y centros comerciales están al alcance de los estudiantes que vienen a Alcalá y los fines de semana quieren disfrutar de todo lo que una gran ciudad puede ofrecer. Si lo prefiere, la perfecta localización de Alcalá, también le permitirá visitar con toda comodidad en tren o autobús otras regiones de España. Toledo, Segovia, Ávila, Aranjuez o El Escorial están prácticamente a un paso de Alcalá. Seguro que deseará tener aún más fines de semana para poder conocer la gran cantidad de sitios interesantes que se encuentran en las cercanías de Alcalá de Henares. |

D.E.L.E Exam
DELE is the official test of Spanish as a foreign language and consist of a Diploma of Spanish as a foreign language. It´s internationally recognized as the official Diploma of Spanish for non native speakers, the same as the TOEFL in English. There are three levels to take the test depending on the speaker´s level: beginner, intermediate, and superior. The exam for any level consists of five parts. The major difference between the levels si the difficulty and time allowed for each section.
This course will effectively prepare you for each one of the five parts, as each day you will carry out practice activities. |
